Item Description
Crown Zenith closed out the Sword & Shield era in early 2023 as a special set, and its 70-card Galarian Gallery was the showcase, filling the subset with character-focused illustrations that feel made for display. Kouki Saitou’s Pikachu, GG30, brings the mascot into that gallery with a warm, personality-first approach, and its Pokédex line sets the tone: “Pikachu that can generate powerful electricity have cheek sacs that are extra soft and super stretchy.”
It plays well, too. Pika Dash gives Pikachu no Retreat Cost as long as it has any Energy attached, so it can pivot out of the Active Spot for free, a small but real edge in a Lightning deck. Whimsy Tackle, for a Lightning and two Colorless Energy, flips a coin for 50 damage and does nothing on tails, a fittingly mischievous attack for the franchise’s best-known troublemaker.
This is the SWSH: Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery printing, GG30/GG70, a holofoil illustrated by Kouki Saitou. It slots into a Galarian Gallery run, and it gives a Pikachu collection a card from the final chapter of the Sword & Shield era.
