Item Description
“This is an extremely rare Pikachu card. You’re very lucky to have found it!” Black & White’s secret Pikachu prints that message right where a Pokédex entry would normally go, and it is hard not to grin the first time you read it.
Numbered 115/114, the card sits beyond the set’s official count as a Secret Rare, the hidden chase that pack openers in 2011 hoped to find behind their rares when the fifth generation arrived in the TCG. Kouki Saitou illustrated it, and the card plays with real punch for a 60-HP Basic. Energize, for one Lightning Energy, attaches a Lightning Energy card from your discard pile to Pikachu, recycling resources instead of spending a card from hand. Thunderbolt then hits for 80 with a Lightning and two Colorless Energy, discarding all Energy attached afterward. Recover, swing big, reset: it is a compact little loop that makes Pikachu more than a binder ornament.
This is the Black & White printing, card 115/114, a foil Secret Rare illustrated by Kouki Saitou. Set completers need it to finish Black & White past the printed count, and Pikachu collectors get the rare card that congratulates its owner in its own text.
