Item Description
The Pokédex text on this Pikachu frames it as setting out on an adventure with Paldea’s new partner Pokémon, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly, and that sense of a fresh journey is the spirit of the whole Scarlet & Violet launch. In Japan this full-art card was the very first Scarlet & Violet promo, numbered 001/SV-P and given to fans who pre-ordered the games; English players found it in the Paldea Evolved Elite Trainer Box in 2023.
Atsushi Furusawa illustrated it, and the attack fits the theme neatly. Adventuring Together does 30 damage plus 10 more for each of your Benched Pokémon, so the more friends Pikachu brings along, the harder it hits. With a full Bench behind it, this 60-HP Basic can land a surprisingly heavy blow, which makes it a fun inclusion in a casual Lightning deck as well as a binder.
This is SV: Scarlet & Violet Promo 027, the full-art holofoil Pikachu illustrated by Atsushi Furusawa. As the card that opened the era’s promo line in Japan, it makes a natural first page for anyone tracking the Scarlet & Violet promo run.
