Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Paradox Haze gives a player two upkeeps every turn. This three-mana blue Aura enchants a player, and at the beginning of that player's first upkeep each turn, they get an additional upkeep step right after it. Anything that triggers at the beginning of the upkeep now triggers twice.
Enchant yourself and every upkeep engine doubles up: Phyrexian Arena draws two cards a turn, suspended cards lose two time counters each turn, and anything that grows or makes tokens at the start of your turn works twice as fast. You can even put it on an opponent to make them pay upkeep costs twice, though most decks want the extra steps for themselves. It's a favorite build-around in Commander for players who love squeezing value out of a single phase.
This is the Special Guests printing, collector number 123, a borderless full-art foil illustrated by Stephen Andrade. Special Guests are the bonus reprints Wizards slots into recent booster products with fresh artwork, and this version gives a card first printed in 2006's Time Spiral a striking new full-frame look.
