Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Open the Armory is the card a Voltron deck reaches for first. For two mana it searches your library for any Aura or Equipment card, reveals it and puts it into your hand, so the one piece of gear your strategy depends on is never more than a sorcery away. In Commander that means fetching the Equipment that wins the game or the protective Aura that keeps your commander alive through a removal-heavy table, and it pulls its weight in budget Boros builds and tuned lists alike.
This printing comes from Secret Lair x Sonic the Hedgehog: Chasing Adventure, the July 2025 superdrop that brought Sega's blue blur and friends into Magic. Amy Rose takes the spotlight, and her trademark determination carries over into the card's flavor, which makes a gear-fetching tutor a fun match for the hammer-swinging hero who never charges in empty-handed. It's an easy upgrade for a spell that already earns its slot.
This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 2089, a borderless foil illustrated by Mike Burns.
