Item Description

Which world do you want to drop into first? That is the question at the heart of the Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle, Nintendo's North American package that pairs the console with a download code for your pick of three Switch 2 games: Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza or Pokémon Pokopia.

Each choice says something different about how you play. Mario Kart World connects its courses into one open map and adds Knockout Tour, a 24-racer elimination rally that makes every checkpoint tense. Donkey Kong Bananza hands DK a world he can punch, dig and tear apart, a 3D platformer where smashing through the scenery is the whole joy. Pokémon Pokopia, released in March 2026, takes the series in a gentler life-sim direction for players who would rather build and settle in than battle for badges.

Whichever you pick, the Switch 2 hardware is the star. It keeps the hybrid design that made the original Switch a phenomenon and builds on it with a larger 7.9-inch 1080p screen, output up to 4K when docked, magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers that can work like a mouse in supported games, and a C button for GameChat. It also runs the vast majority of original Switch games, so a library built up over the last generation comes along with you.

Letting the player choose the pack-in is a smart twist on the classic console bundle, and it makes this an easy recommendation as a gift, since you can match the system to a racer, a platformer fan or a Pokémon collector.
