This is Nintendo Power Volume 92 (Issue #92), the January 1997 issue with Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on the cover, complete with its original fold-out poster. All pages are intact. Nintendo Power printed this issue with four cover variants; the photos show the cover of this copy. Look over the photos for condition and details. It ships carefully packed and protected.

Item Description

Snowspeeders over Hoth, tow cables whipping around AT-AT legs, and a mercenary named Dash Rendar caught in the middle. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire was one of the Nintendo 64's earliest showcase games, and Nintendo Power Volume 92 gives it the full strategy treatment. Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the game follows Dash and his ship, the Outrider, through a swoop bike chase on Tatooine, a showdown with Boba Fett aboard Slave I and a run against Prince Xizor's Black Sun crime syndicate. Nintendo Power printed this issue with four different covers (a stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Dash Rendar and IG-88) that line up into one continuous image, a detail Star Wars collectors love.

The rest of the issue shows the N64 era getting started while the Super NES kept going strong. Strategy sections cover NBA Hang Time, Cruis'n USA, Donkey Kong Country 3, Casper and Magic Boy, and a Game Boy roundup revisits reissued classics like Operation C, Castlevania Adventure and Marble Madness. Counselors' Corner answers questions on Super Mario 64 and Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals.
