This is Nintendo Power Volume 20 (Issue #20), the January 1991 issue with Mega Man III on the cover, complete with its original fold-out poster. All pages are intact. Look over the photos for condition and details. It ships carefully packed and protected.

Item Description

A whistle echoes, a shield-carrying robot in red and gray drops in, and the Mega Man series gets its first great mystery. Nintendo Power Volume 20 leads with Mega Man III (as the cover spelled it), the adventure that introduced Proto Man, gave Mega Man his slide and handed him Rush in Coil, Jet and Marine forms. The strategy coverage reads like a field manual: Robot Master illustrations, stage maps, special weapon tips, a suggested boss order, a look at the return of Mega Man 2's robots and a preview of Dr. Wily's Skull Castle, with a sidebar on Dr. Light and Dr. Wily for good measure.

This is also the issue where Nintendo Power went monthly, and it is packed. The Immortal gets maps all the way to its dragon, the point-and-click mystery Deja Vu gets a step-by-step case solution, and Gremlins 2: The New Batch gets the full map treatment. A technical feature explains how NES cartridges used memory management controllers to squeeze in bigger games, and the Howard & Nester comic takes on Solar Jetman. Over in Pak Watch, the Super Famicom shows up with F-Zero, Pilotwings and a game billed as "Super Mario Bros. 4" that the world would soon know as Super Mario World.
