Item Condition
This New Nintendo 3DS Super Mario White Edition comes as a loose unit — the handheld itself, without the original box or any included accessories. It has been fully tested by Coolection and was functioning as expected when it went through our process, though as with any piece of vintage portable hardware, real-world performance can vary a bit depending on your setup, accessories, and the games you're running on it. You can request high-resolution photos of this exact unit using the "Request Additional Pictures" button on this page before you commit to buying. Please refer to the provided photos for the exact details of the item's condition.
Item Description
The New Nintendo 3DS Super Mario White Edition is one of the most charming hardware releases to come out of Nintendo's beloved 3DS family. Dressed in clean white with Mario-themed decorative plates and matching face buttons rendered in red, blue, green, and yellow, this system is a collector's dream in hardware form — a piece of Nintendo history that wears its franchise love right on its shell. The "New" in the name isn't just marketing; this is a meaningfully upgraded revision of the original 3DS, featuring a faster processor, improved 3D tracking that follows your face using the front-facing camera, a built-in C-stick nub for camera and second-analog control, and ZL and ZR shoulder buttons that the original 3DS lacked entirely.
On the software side, those upgrades matter. The New Nintendo 3DS is compatible with the full library of original 3DS and DS games, and it unlocks a small but notable subset of New 3DS exclusive titles — games and apps that simply won't run on older models. Whether you're revisiting the massive RPG catalog, diving into a Pokemon adventure, or playing one of the platform's acclaimed action games, the extra horsepower and improved ergonomics make this the definitive way to experience the 3DS library.
As a loose unit, this is a fantastic way to get into the New 3DS ecosystem without paying the premium of a complete boxed set — especially if you already have charging cables, styluses, and SD cards on hand, or are picking those up separately. It's also a great pickup for anyone who wants a dedicated portable for a specific game, a travel system to keep alongside a primary console, or a replacement for a unit that's seen better days.
Whether you're a dedicated Nintendo collector chasing every hardware variant or a player who just wants the best 3DS experience possible, this Super Mario White Edition delivers personality and performance in one compact package.
