Magic: The Gathering single: Nature's Lore. Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Two mana, one Forest, zero waiting. Nature's Lore searches your library for a Forest card and puts it straight onto the battlefield, then you shuffle. The card doesn't say tapped, so the land arrives ready to use, which means a turn-two Nature's Lore can lead into a four-drop on turn three.
The wording matters more than it first appears. It finds any card with the Forest land type, not just a basic, so in multicolor decks it can fetch a dual land that carries the Forest type and fix two colors at once. That combination of speed and fixing has made it a fixture of green Commander ramp packages; it sits near the very top of EDHREC's popularity rankings. Landfall decks enjoy the extra trigger, and any green deck that wants to reach its big spells early will be happy to see it in an opening hand.
This is the Secret Lair Drop printing from the “Our Show Is On Friday, Can You Make It?” drop, collector number 189, a full-art borderless card illustrated by Jeff Soto, in non-foil. The drop styled its cards like gig posters, and the flavor text keeps things simple: “Greetings, tired traveler.”
