Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Sometimes the right answer costs a single Forest. Nature's Claim is a one-mana green instant that destroys any target artifact or enchantment, and its controller gains 4 life. That life is a small price when the target is a mana rock, a lock piece, a voltron commander's favorite Equipment or an aura holding your best creature hostage. Because it works at instant speed, you can wait for the end of a turn or answer an artifact the moment it threatens to go off.
There is a sneaky upside, too. Aim it at one of your own spent permanents, such as a used-up token-making artifact or an enchantment you want in the graveyard, and the 4 life comes back to you. For green decks that otherwise struggle to interact, it is about as efficient as artifact and enchantment removal gets, which is why it shows up in so many Commander decks.
This is the Time Spiral Remastered printing, collector number 364, one of the set's timeshifted cards shown in the classic retro frame, illustrated by Raoul Vitale, in non-foil. Its flavor text fits the throwback treatment perfectly: “The timeless, tireless jaws of nature shall one day devour us all.”
