Item Description
Seven mana buys a lot more than one creature here. Myr Battlesphere enters with four 1/1 colorless Myr artifact creature tokens, then turns that escort into ammunition: whenever it attacks, you may tap any number of untapped Myr you control, and it gets +X/+0 and deals X damage directly to the player or planeswalker it is attacking. Tap the four Myr it brought and it swings as an 8/7 while sending four damage straight past any blockers.
Colorless and self-contained, it has been a go-to finisher for artifact decks since Scars of Mirrodin, and it fits into any Commander deck regardless of colors. Token doublers turn its four Myr into eight, blink effects make it bring a fresh squad, and artifact payoffs love the sudden surge of permanents. Even if the big body gets answered, the tokens stay behind.
This printing comes from Secret Lair x Sonic: Turbo Gear, the 2025 crossover with Sega's speedster, where the card carries the Sonic-universe name Egg Hammer. It is collector number 2097, a borderless foil illustrated by Sylvain Sarrailh, and a lumbering war machine trailed by an army of little robots is about as Dr. Eggman as a Magic card gets.
