Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Every card your opponents draw can be a card for you too. Mind's Eye is a five-mana colorless artifact with one simple, relentless trigger: whenever an opponent draws a card, you may pay one generic mana to draw a card yourself. In a four-player Commander game, that is three opponents' draw steps plus every cantrip and card-draw spell they cast, each one a chance to turn spare mana into cards.
Because it is colorless, it fits in any deck, and it shines in decks that leave mana open on opponents' turns, such as flash and control strategies or decks full of mana rocks. Against opponents who draw extra cards it only gets better, and at tables full of wheel effects and group-hug draw it can bury you in card advantage. The only real limit is how much mana you have available.
This is the Kaladesh Inventions printing, collector number 18, illustrated by David Gaillet, in foil. The Kaladesh Inventions were Masterpiece Series cards inserted into Kaladesh boosters, presenting classic artifacts in ornate filigree frames inspired by the plane's culture of inventors. Mind's Eye was first printed in Fifth Dawn, and its flavor text here recasts it as a Consulate invention that lets anyone see with a visionary's eye.
