Item Description
Mewtwo has spent years as a raid boss in Pokémon GO, so it is only fitting that its VSTAR card from the Pokémon GO expansion comes with an attack called Star Raid. For one Psychic and one Colorless Energy, Star Raid does 120 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon V, unaffected by Weakness or Resistance, a board-sweeping VSTAR Power that can swing a game against V-heavy decks. As with every VSTAR Power, you only get one per game, so timing is everything.
Psy Purge is the everyday attack, and it is explosive. For one Psychic and one Colorless Energy, discard up to three Psychic Energy from your Pokémon and deal 90 damage for each one, up to 270 in a single swing. With 280 HP, Mewtwo VSTAR evolves from Mewtwo V and hits like the legend it is, though your opponent takes two Prize cards if it is Knocked Out.
This is the Pokémon GO printing, collector number 079/078, a holofoil secret rare illustrated by PLANETA Mochizuki, numbered past the main set as a special version of the set's headline Mewtwo.
