Item Description
What do you do against a Pokémon that can use your own attack against you? Mew ex answers with Genome Hacking: for three Colorless Energy, choose one of your opponent's Active Pokémon's attacks and use it as this attack. Whatever your opponent built their deck around, Mew can borrow it, which makes this 180-HP Basic a wonderfully cheeky attacker.
Its Restart Ability is just as handy. Once during your turn, you may draw cards until you have three in your hand, a refill that keeps your turns moving when your hand runs thin. That combination of flexible offense and steady card draw is why Mew ex found a home in so many decks after its release.
Scarlet & Violet 151 is a love letter to the original Kanto Pokédex, and Mew, number 151 itself, is the natural finale. This is the 151 printing, collector number 205/165, a gold Hyper Rare with artwork by aky CG Works, numbered past the main set as the set's top-tier gold treatment of the card.
