Item Description
Meowth has been a schemer ever since the anime made one of them Team Rocket's fast-talking sidekick, and Meowth ex plays exactly like one. The moment you put it onto your Bench from your hand, its Last-Ditch Catch Ability lets you search your deck for any Supporter card, so a 170-HP Basic doubles as a tutor for whatever your turn needs.
The clever part is Tuck Tail. For three Colorless Energy it hits for 60, then scoops Meowth and every card attached to it back into your hand. Bench it again on a later turn and Last-Ditch Catch fires again, fetching another Supporter. It rewards players who think a turn ahead, pulling the right draw, disruption or gust Supporter while also lifting Meowth out of harm's way. The ex rule still applies, so your opponent takes two Prize cards if it is Knocked Out.
This is the Perfect Order (ME03) printing, collector number 062/088, a Double Rare holofoil with artwork by 5ban Graphics, whose rendered, sculpted style gives Meowth a polished, almost toy-like look on the card. It is the main-set ex version of the card, and it sits neatly beside the Special Illustration Rare in a Meowth or Perfect Order binder.
