Item Description

Gengar is the grin in the dark that every Kanto kid remembers. Its family haunted Lavender Town's Pokémon Tower in Red and Blue, and Gengar itself, said to lurk in shadows and chill any room it slips into, became the mischievous face of Ghost types for a generation.

Mega Gengar took that mischief and made it menacing. In X and Y, its lower body sinks into the ground, a third eye opens on its forehead, and its Shadow Tag ability trapped opponents in place, making it a feared competitive threat. Mega Gengar ex brings that ominous design to the TCG, and the Mega Moonlit Tin puts it on the lid in style.

Paired in the Moonlit line with Mega Clefable ex, the Gengar tin is the darker side of the same night sky. The Mega Gengar ex promo is the headliner, a stack of booster packs supplies the opening, and the tin itself stays useful as storage or display afterward. Ghost-type collectors will want it on sight, and anyone who once traded a Haunter just to watch it evolve will feel the nostalgia immediately.
