Game only: the cartridge in a protective holder, no box or manual. The photos are our own, taken from our stock of this game — look them over for condition, packaging and details. Every cartridge's shell, label and board are checked for authenticity when it comes into the store, and it's tested before it's listed. It ships in a collector's bag or a hard plastic case.
Mr. King gives to charity, smiles for the cameras and secretly runs Dealer, the card-themed crime syndicate behind the Noise-fueled chaos of Mega Man Star Force 3. His real goal is Meteor G, a colossal mass of Noise hurtling toward Earth, and if Dealer controls it, the whole planet becomes a hostage. Standing in the way are Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis, the alien Wizard who lets him become Mega Man, in the final chapter of Capcom's Nintendo DS trilogy, released in Japan in 2008 and in North America the following year.
Combat keeps the grid-based Battle Card rhythm the series is known for: dodging between lanes, choosing cards from your folder and chaining them into combos before the enemy can react. The big new idea is Noise. A meter fills based on how you defeat enemies, unlocking Noise Change forms with new abilities, and once it hits 200 percent Geo can Finalize into his most powerful form for three turns. Building toward that moment without leaving yourself exposed is a real risk-and-reward layer.
Red Joker is the heavy hitter of the two versions. Its Finalize form is built around raw power, with a card library focused on big, high-damage attacks, and the version has its own exclusive Battle Cards and its own favored set of Noise forms. The story is the same in both versions, so Red Joker tells the whole tale while giving the fights a different flavor from Black Ace, and completists will want both.
Geo's friendships, carried through the Brother Band system the game was designed around, give Star Force more heart than its Battle Network predecessor, and this last chapter leans into trust and sacrifice, with Ace of the Satella Police, Bud Bison, Sonia Strumm and the lone-wolf Solo all playing their part. No fourth game followed, which makes this the end of Geo's saga and a satisfying cartridge to see the Star Force story through on original hardware.
The world is in peril from a mysterious "noise" that is affecting the EM digital world. Through his bond with the alien Omega, Geo must transform into the legendary Mega Man to uncover the mystery behind the noise and protect the Earth. Can he master the new Mega Man transformations of Black Ace and Red Joker before it's too late?
