Item Description
Lunatone has a quietly devoted fan base, a crescent-moon Pokémon that drifted in from space with a strange, celestial design. Its Pokédex lore ties its power to the phases of the moon, saying it grows active on nights of the full moon, and that otherworldly vibe makes it a natural subject for an art-focused card.
It also plays better than you might expect. Cycle Draw costs one Psychic Energy and lets you discard a card from your hand to draw three, a handy way to dig for what you need early. Moon Kinesis, for three Colorless Energy, does 30 more damage for each Psychic Energy attached, so a well-fueled Lunatone can hit surprisingly hard for a 90 HP Basic.
Crown Zenith, the 2023 special set that capped the Sword & Shield era, included the Galarian Gallery, a 70-card subset of character-focused full-art illustrations. This is the Galarian Gallery printing, GG11/GG70, illustrated by sowsow, in foil.
