Item Description
"She sold her soul to four demons for powerful gifts." Liliana's Contract turns one of Magic's most famous bits of lore into an alternate win condition. When it enters, you draw four cards and lose 4 life, a hefty refuel in its own right. Then, at the beginning of your upkeep, if you control four or more Demons with different names, you win the game.
That makes the Contract the centerpiece of any Demon-themed Commander deck. The card nods to the pact Liliana made with four demons, and assembling a board of four distinct Demons is a flavorful, achievable goal in a dedicated build. Even when the win isn't close, the immediate four-card draw keeps your hand stocked, and opponents have to respect an enchantment that can end the game on your next upkeep.
