Item Description

LEGO Jurassic World launched on June 12, 2015, the same day Jurassic World opened in theaters, and it turned the whole saga into one brick-built adventure. It is the first game to let you relive all four films, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World, across twenty levels, five for each movie, from the Jeep chase with the T. rex to the Indominus rex breaking loose.

The famous moments are all here, played for laughs in the best LEGO tradition: scenes such as Dennis Nedry's doomed getaway and the raptors stalking the kitchen get slapstick twists, and dialogue is lifted from the movies while the music draws on John Williams' and Michael Giacchino's scores. Human heroes such as Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm and Owen Grady each have abilities you need to progress,.

The real draw is the dinosaurs themselves. Playing as the dinosaurs is the big new twist, and stomping around as a T. rex or a Triceratops, smashing scenery and solving puzzles with your size, never stops being fun. Each species brings its own strengths, so working out which dinosaur a puzzle calls for becomes part of the fun. For a Vita collection it is a bright, portable dose of Jurassic Park nostalgia, and the closest a handheld gets to running your own park full of brick-built monsters.
