Item Description
Every instant and sorcery becomes a coin flip with Krark, the Thumbless. Win the flip and you copy the spell, choosing new targets if you like; lose it and the spell returns to your hand instead of resolving, ready to be cast again. Cheap rituals and cantrips turn into a loop where losses cost you only mana and wins double your payoff.
The two-mana Goblin Wizard is a partner commander from Commander Legends, and the joke in his name runs deep: Mirrodin's Krark's Thumb is an artifact that lets you flip two coins and ignore one, and it plays beautifully alongside him. Paired with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, which can enter as a second Krark, every spell gets two flips, a combination that became famous at high-powered Commander tables. Even in casual games Krark makes every spell a little moment of drama, and his flavor text sums him up: "Double or nothing."
