Item Description
Klawf made a big first impression in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as the Stony Cliff Titan, the oversized rock crab that kicks off the Path of Legends storyline. With its huge claws, wide eyes and bright orange shell, it is easy to love, and its Pokédex lore is wonderful: Klawf hangs upside-down from cliffs to ambush prey, but can't stay that way for long because the blood rushes to its head.
The card leans into that personality. Klawf is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 130 HP. Vise Grip deals 50 for two Fighting Energy, and Adrenaline Hammer smashes for 130 with three, but leaves Klawf Confused afterward, a fun nod to a crab that gets a little dizzy after going all out.
This is the SV01: Scarlet & Violet Base Set Illustration Rare, number 217/198, illustrated by Mina Nakai, in foil. Numbered beyond the set's main count, Illustration Rares use full, scene-style artwork that shows the Pokémon in its world, and they quickly became a favorite collecting category of the Scarlet & Violet era.
