Complete in box: the cartridge, the manual and the box, all original; anything beyond that is included only if you can see it in the photos. Look over the photos for condition, packaging and details. Every cartridge's shell, label and board are checked for authenticity when it comes into the store, and it's tested before it's listed. It ships in a collector's bag or a hard plastic case.
Overnight, a colossal beanstalk called the Dreamstalk erupts beneath Kirby's house and lifts it into the sky, while a six-armed magician named Taranza snatches King Dedede and vanishes into the floating kingdom of Floralia. Kirby: Triple Deluxe is HAL Laboratory's first original Kirby platformer for the 3DS, and it shows off the hardware with a playful trick: stages are built on two planes, so Kirby hops between foreground and background, dodges enemies attacking from deep in the scene and solves puzzles that cross both layers.
The headline power is Hypernova. Swallowing a Miracle Fruit turns Kirby's inhale into a roaring vortex that can gulp down giant enemies, trees and whole chunks of scenery, and those set pieces rank among the happiest moments in the series. Classic copy abilities return alongside newcomers Beetle, Bell, Archer and Circus, and certain stages use the system's gyro sensor for tilt puzzles. Levels hide Sun Stones that unlock extra stages, plus hundreds of collectible keychains featuring characters and sprites from Kirby's past.
Two bonus modes became fan favorites in their own right. Kirby Fighters is a compact multiplayer brawler built entirely around copy abilities, and Dedede's Drum Dash is a rhythm game in which the king bounces across drums in time with remixed Kirby music. Both proved popular enough to be spun off into expanded standalone downloads. After the main story, the tougher Dededetour campaign and The True Arena push skilled players to the limit, and the showdown with Queen Sectonia is a memorable piece of Kirby escalation.
Triple Deluxe's mix of easygoing charm and a surprisingly demanding endgame set the template for Kirby on the 3DS, and Planet Robobot later built on its two-plane design. The Nintendo Selects label marks a later budget printing of the same game, so the adventure itself is identical across both releases. It is a bright, inventive platformer that rewards a relaxed playthrough and a completionist's hunt for every last keychain in equal measure.
A side-scrolling installment in the beloved Kirby series, Kirby: Triple Deluxe uses the 3D features of the Nintendo 3DS to allow Kirby to move not only from left to right, but also from the foreground to the background. Kirby also gets an “inhale everything” ability that can be used in specific parts of each stage to help him clear anything blocking his path. As always, Kirby has the power to inhale his enemies and take on their abilities. Each copy ability can let him do a variety of actions and moves, depending on which buttons are pressed. Kirby: Triple Deluxe includes a huge number of collectibles for players to find, from hidden 8-bit keychains to Sun Stones. The game takes advantage of 3DS StreetPass feature to deliver bonus items to players
