Every cartridge's shell, label and board are checked for authenticity when it comes into the store, and it's tested before it's listed. It ships in a collector's bag or a hard plastic case.

Item Description

Kirby has never been more of an explorer than in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. Instead of marching left to right through a string of stages, this 2004 Game Boy Advance adventure, built by HAL Laboratory, Flagship and Dimps for Nintendo, drops him into a sprawling, interconnected Mirror World of branching paths, hidden switches and locked-off rooms, closer in spirit to Metroid than to Kirby's Adventure. It all begins when Dark Meta Knight's sword splits Kirby into four, and the pink, yellow, red and green Kirbys set out to recover the shattered pieces of the Dimension Mirror.

The headline gadget is Kirby's cell phone. Call for help and the other three Kirbys come flying in, computer-controlled, to brawl alongside you, while friends with their own systems and cartridges can link up and explore together as the full quartet of up to four players. The copy abilities are as inventive as ever, with newcomers like Cupid, Missile, Magic and Smash, the last of which hands Kirby his move set from Super Smash Bros. Mirrors scattered around the map warp you between zones and back to the hub, and a map screen tracks the rooms you've uncovered, so the game rewards poking into every corner for treasure chests, extra health and spray paints that recolor your Kirby.

Between adventures, three mini-games keep the party going: the eating contest Speed Eaters, the timing test Crackity Hack and the surfing race Kirby Wave Ride. The final confrontation with Dark Mind, the true villain behind the mirror, is a multi-stage showdown that ranks among the more dramatic boss fights in Kirby's handheld history.

For players who know Kirby as a breezy, pick-up-and-play platformer, this is the entry that asks you to map, backtrack and hunt for secrets, and nothing else in the series plays quite like it. Played on original hardware with friends, it's the four-Kirby chaos exactly as it was designed.
