Item Description

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker is the goblin who copies your best creature every turn. Tap it to create a token copy of target nonlegendary creature you control, except the copy has haste; sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step. Copy a creature with an enters-the-battlefield trigger and you get that effect again every turn, or copy your biggest attacker for an extra hasty swing.

And then there is the combo. Copy Pestermite or Deceiver Exarch and the token's trigger untaps Kiki-Jiki, letting you tap it again for another copy, over and over, for as many hasty attackers as you like. Zealous Conscripts does the same job by untapping Kiki-Jiki. That has made this five-mana, triple-red 2/2 with haste a centerpiece of red combo decks in Commander and cube for years, as well as a fearsome value engine in casual play.

This is the From the Vault: Legends printing, collector number 4, illustrated by Steven Belledin, in foil. Kiki-Jiki first appeared in Champions of Kamigawa, and From the Vault: Legends gathered fifteen legendary creatures in foil in 2011, giving the Mirror Breaker a shimmering showcase fitting for a card that is all about reflections.
