Item Description

Give Kiki-Jiki a creature with a good enters-the-battlefield trigger and he will happily copy it every single turn. The Goblin Shaman costs five mana for a 2/2 with haste, and tapping him creates a token copy of any nonlegendary creature you control. The copy has haste and is sacrificed at the next end step, so each activation is a fresh attacker plus a fresh trigger: another pair of cards from Mulldrifter, another trio of goblins from Siege-Gang Commander, another swing from anything with an attack trigger.

That repeatable copy effect has made Kiki-Jiki a combo legend since Champions of Kamigawa. Pair him with Pestermite or Deceiver Exarch, whose arrival untaps him, and the loop never ends: tap, copy, untap, repeat, until you have as many hasty attackers as the game requires. Zealous Conscripts and Restoration Angel do the same job in slightly different ways. Even without an infinite line, Commander players lean on him in red creature decks packed with value triggers, where doubling up every turn snowballs quickly.

This is the Iconic Masters printing, collector number 136, a mythic rare illustrated by Steven Belledin, offered in non-foil. Iconic Masters was a 2017 premium reprint set built around big-name cards from across Magic's history, and Kiki-Jiki was one of its mythic headliners.
