Item Description
Karmic Justice makes opponents think twice before pointing removal your way. Whenever a spell or ability an opponent controls destroys a noncreature permanent you control, you may destroy target permanent that opponent controls. Blow up an artifact and lose your best creature; wipe out a set of enchantments and watch a matching number of their own permanents go with them, since it triggers for each noncreature permanent destroyed.
Because it cares only about destroy effects, it turns the artifact and enchantment sweepers that Commander tables lean on, like Vandalblast or Austere Command, into a painful trade for the caster. At three mana it's an easy include in enchantress and artifact decks that hate losing their engines, and its presence alone often redirects an opponent's removal toward someone else.
The name says it all: what goes around comes around. This is the Commander 2015 printing, collector number 72, illustrated by Ray Lago, in non-foil.
