Item Description
Jenara first descended in Alara Reborn as a three-color angel of Bant, the shard of honor, knights and orderly war. Her flavor text pictures her sweeping past wounded soldiers with her eyes fixed on their foe, and From the Vault: Angels brought that art back as part of a foil collection devoted entirely to Magic's angels.
For one green, one white and one blue mana you get a 3/3 flier on turn three, already a respectable threat. The longer game is her activated ability: one generic plus one white puts a +1/+1 counter on her, as often as you can pay. Every turn you have mana left over, Jenara gets permanently bigger, so she turns spare lands into a growing threat in the air. In Commander she makes a straightforward Bant leader for counters and angel themes, and in the 99 she is a mana sink that never wastes a turn.
