Item Description
Inspiring Leader turns a swarm of 1/1s into a swarm of 3/3s. It is a legendary Background enchantment, and once it is on the battlefield, commander creatures you own gain the ability "Creature tokens you control get +2/+2." Soldiers, Spirits, Treasure-hungry Goblins, whatever your deck produces, every one of them suddenly becomes a real threat.
Backgrounds arrived in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate, letting a legendary creature with "Choose a Background" bring a Background along as a second commander. That means Inspiring Leader sits in the command zone every game, ready to cast whenever your token plan needs a boost, and it adds white to any partner's color identity. Its flavor text sketches a classic folk-hero arc, someone who farmed, fought and finally led because their people needed it, which fits a card that makes an entire army stand taller.
