Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Imposter Mech is a two-mana clone with a sci-fi twist. As it enters, you may have it become a copy of a creature an opponent controls, except it is a Vehicle artifact with crew 3 and loses its other card types. You get the stolen creature's size and abilities in a chassis that only becomes a creature when you crew it, and if nothing across the table is worth copying it is still a 3/1 Vehicle.
That Vehicle status is the clever part. Between your turns it is not a creature, so sorcery-speed creature removal and creature board wipes pass right over it, and you choose exactly when to bring the copy to life. Copying an opponent's biggest threat for two mana is a strong tempo swing, and in Vehicle-themed Commander decks it gives your crew a fresh target every game.
This is the extended-art version from Neon Dynasty Commander, collector number 49, illustrated by Andrew Mar, in non-foil. Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty reimagined the plane as a neon-lit, high-tech world full of mechs and pilots, and a shapeshifting Vehicle that turns an opponent's best creature against them fits right in.
