Item Description
Ilharg, the Raze-Boar turns your hand into a second army. Every time this 6/6 trampler attacks, you may put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, then return it to your hand at the beginning of the next end step. The same enormous creature can crash in beside the boar turn after turn without ever being cast, and it is safely back in your hand before your opponents can deal with it.
The real fun is in what you choose to drop in. Anything with an enters-the-battlefield trigger fires again each time it comes in, so creatures that wipe out blockers, pump the team or draw cards on arrival become repeatable engines. Ilharg is also hard to keep down: when it dies or is exiled from the battlefield, you may put it into your library third from the top, so it tends to return a few draws later. That combination makes it a ferocious centerpiece for red and Gruul Commander decks packed with creatures too big to cast on curve.
This listing is a borderless Secret Lair Drop printing of Ilharg in a foil finish, giving the boar an alternate look outside its original War of the Spark frame, where it debuted as a mythic in 2019.
