Item Description
Hop spent all of Pokémon Sword and Shield trying to step out of his brother Leon's shadow, and by the end of his journey he had found his own path. The Hop's Zacian ex Box celebrates that growth by pairing Galar's most enthusiastic rival with Zacian, the legendary sword-wielding Pokémon at the center of Galar's history.
It launched alongside Journey Together in March 2025, the expansion that brought back Trainer's Pokémon, a mechanic first seen in the Gym Heroes era where a Pokémon card belongs to a specific character. Hop was one of the trainers spotlighted in that return, and his team gives the cards a story you can follow: Hop's Wooloo and Hop's Dubwool are as much a part of his identity as the Legendary wolf.
Zacian makes for a striking ex. As the Fairy-type Legendary of Pokémon Sword, it carries the Rusted Sword in its jaws and takes on a Fairy and Steel form when it becomes the Crowned Sword. Seeing it labeled as Hop's turns a familiar Legendary into something more personal, a partnership rather than just a powerful card.
Collection boxes like this one are a great way to grab a featured promo and enjoy some pack opening in one go. It is a box with a story behind it: the rival who never stopped trying, finally standing beside a Legendary of his own.
