Item Description
Wooloo rolled into Galar as a living ball of fleece and quickly became one of the faces of Pokémon Sword and Shield's early routes. Hop's Wooloo ties that fluffy sheep to Hop, the cheerful rival and best friend whose Wooloo traveled with him throughout the Galar adventure.
SV09: Journey Together brought Trainer's Pokémon back to the TCG, cards where a Pokémon belongs to a named character, and Hop's team was part of that return. In play this Wooloo is a simple Basic with 70 HP and Smash Kick, which does 50 damage for three Colorless Energy, but the real draw here is the illustration.
This is the illustration rare numbered 170/159, beyond the main set count, illustrated by MINAMINAMI Take, with full artwork in foil. Illustration rares hand the artist the whole card to set a scene, which makes them a favorite way to collect character-focused cards like this one.
