Item Description
Hollowhenge Overlord is a wolf pack that builds itself. At the beginning of your upkeep it creates a 2/2 green Wolf token for each Wolf or Werewolf you control, and since the Overlord is a Wolf and every token it makes is a Wolf too, the pack doubles every turn. One Overlord becomes two Wolves, then four, then eight, with no help at all.
Flash makes it even nastier. Six mana at the end of an opponent's turn puts a 4/4 on the battlefield just in time for your upkeep, so the first Wolf arrives before anyone gets a sorcery-speed answer. In Wolf and Werewolf Commander decks led by the likes of Tovolar, Dire Overlord or Ulrich of the Krallenhorde it is a top-end payoff, and token-doubling or populate effects only speed up the exponential growth.
This is the Crimson Vow Commander extended-art printing, collector number 74, illustrated by Milivoj Ćeran, in non-foil. The extended frame gives Ćeran's artwork more room across the full width of the card.
