Item Description

Packing the perfect picnic takes a lot of preparation, and Hello Kitty has plenty of friends ready to help. Published by Majesco for the 3DS, Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends is a cheerful collection of ten mini-games built around getting ready for the big day out, with My Melody, Keroppi, Chococat, Badtz-Maru and the Little Twin Stars along for the fun.

The activities lean toward gentle brain teasers, including Hidden Object hunts, Spot the Difference puzzles and a game of Picnic Blanket Checkers. Everything is played with the touch screen, and a friendly voice guides you through each activity, which makes it easy for young players to pick up without help. Playing earns apples, and apples unlock new outfits and accessories for Hello Kitty, while whimsical scenes such as her bedroom and kitchen are there to explore and decorate, so there is always a small reward waiting at the end of each game.

There are also multiplayer modes for sharing the fun with a friend or sibling. It is a sweet, low-pressure first game for a young Sanrio fan, and a bright, colorful addition to a Hello Kitty collection that follows her into every format.
