Item Description
Hedron Archive is a mana rock with a built-in exit plan. For four mana it taps for two colorless every turn, jumping you straight from four mana to six. Once you no longer need the ramp, pay two, tap it and sacrifice it to draw two cards, turning a spent accelerant into fresh resources.
That two-mode design makes it a dependable pick for Commander decks of almost any color, especially colorless-heavy and artifact strategies that want to cast big spells early. Hedrons are the floating stone prisons of Zendikar, built to contain the Eldrazi, and Cosmin Podar's borderless Secret Lair art gives the familiar artifact a striking new look.
This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 691, a borderless rare illustrated by Cosmin Podar, issued as a Secret Lair bonus card and available only in foil.
