Item Description
Heart of the Explorer is the Secret Lair x Tomb Raider version of Search for Azcanta, renamed to suit Lara Croft's hunt for lost ruins. It is a two-mana blue legendary enchantment that looks at the top card of your library each upkeep and lets you put it in your graveyard. Once you have seven or more cards in your graveyard, it transforms into a legendary land.
That land, Azcanta, the Sunken Ruin in its original form, taps for blue mana and, for three mana, digs four cards deep for a noncreature, nonland card. In control and spellslinger decks it becomes a steady, uncounterable source of card selection that lives on a land, while the upkeep filtering smooths every draw until it flips. Search for Azcanta debuted in Ixalan as the lost sunken city, so the tomb-raiding crossover is a natural fit.
