Item Description
Every creature that dies on the table becomes a card in your hand. Harvester of Souls is a six-mana 5/5 Demon with deathtouch, and whenever another nontoken creature dies, yours or anyone else's, you may draw a card. Trade in combat, cast a board wipe, or sacrifice a creature for value, and the Harvester turns all of it into card advantage.
That makes it a strong finisher for black midrange and a natural fit in Commander, where multiplayer tables mean creatures die constantly. Pair it with board wipes and it refills your hand off everyone's losses; pair it with sacrifice outlets and it becomes a draw engine you control. Deathtouch keeps it a menacing blocker too. Its flavor text from Dark Ascension sums up the Demon nicely: "He is judge, jury, and executioner because he killed them all."
This is the Time Spiral Remastered printing, collector number 325, from the set's timeshifted bonus sheet, presented in the classic retro card frame with artwork by Slawomir Maniak, offered here in non-foil.
