Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.

Item Description

Hall of the Bandit Lord charges a toll for speed. It enters tapped, then taps for colorless mana at the cost of 3 life, and any creature spell paid for with that mana gains haste. Drop a giant threat and attack immediately, or let a freshly cast commander swing before the table can react. Every activation hurts, so it rewards players who treat their life total as a resource.

It shines in Commander, where 40 starting life makes the payment far easier to absorb, and in decks whose biggest creatures want to hit the moment they arrive. Legendary-matters builds also get one more legendary permanent for free. First printed in the original Kamigawa block, it's a fitting card for a Neon Dynasty tribute.

This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 427, from the Showcase: Neon Dynasty drop, illustrated by ZOUNOSE, in foil. This copy is the yellow neon ink version, where glowing ink is layered over the foil so the old Kamigawa bandit stronghold looks like a sign humming on a Neon Dynasty street at night.
