Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
“He's BACK! The schemes this ancient evil has concocted will make your skin crawl away and hide!” This Secret Lair Griselbrand sells itself like a vintage monster-movie trailer, and the borderless rainbow-foil treatment gives the demon all the showmanship that line promises.
The card underneath is as outrageous as ever. Griselbrand is an eight-mana legendary Demon, a 7/7 with flying and lifelink, and for no mana you can pay 7 life to draw seven cards, as many times as your life total allows, at instant speed. One attack earns back the life you spent, and one activation reloads your whole hand.
That combination has made it a classic target for reanimation and for effects that put creatures onto the battlefield without paying their cost, and in Commander it is a natural top-end payoff for black ramp and graveyard decks. This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 1620, a borderless card illustrated by Stephen Andrade & Scott Okumura, in rainbow foil.
