Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Play a land, get a 3/3 Badger. Play another, get another, and watch Greensleeves herself grow the whole time. Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer is a five-mana green legendary creature whose power and toughness are each equal to the number of lands you control, and her landfall ability creates a 3/3 green Badger token every time a land enters under your control.
That makes her a natural commander for mono-green landfall decks. Fetch lands trigger her twice, once for the fetch and once for the land it finds; bounce lands let you replay lands for extra triggers; and cards that grant additional land drops turn a single turn into a burrow full of Badgers. Late in the game she is a huge body on her own, and her protection from planeswalkers and from Wizards means planeswalker abilities and Wizard sources can't target her, and damage they would deal to her is prevented.
She also brings a real sense of character to a deck built around her: a nature sorcerer of Dominaria whose magic answers to the land rather than to scholars and spellbooks. This is the Dominaria United Commander printing, collector number 27, illustrated by Tuan Duong Chu, in foil.
