Item Description
Great Tusk is the Paradox Pokémon from Paldea's distant past, an ancient relative of Donphan with massive curved tusks and a prehistoric build, and it was a Pokémon Scarlet exclusive in the games. Its Pokémon ex card brings that raw power to the table as a 250 HP Basic Fighting Pokémon.
Two attacks define it. Bedrock Breaker costs one Fighting Energy, deals 40 damage and discards a Stadium in play, a handy way to clear away an opponent's field effect. Gigantic Tusks costs three Fighting Energy and hits for a massive 250 damage, with 50 damage to Great Tusk itself as recoil; the huge HP pool means it can absorb that cost and keep swinging. Like every Pokémon ex, it gives up two Prize cards when knocked out, so it rewards bold, decisive play.
This card is 246/198 from SV01: Scarlet & Violet Base Set, a special illustration rare numbered beyond the main set, illustrated by Pani Kobayashi, in foil. Special illustration rares trade the usual card layout for full scene artwork, giving Great Tusk room to show off its prehistoric bulk across the whole card.
