Item Description
In a multiplayer game, Goldlust Triad never attacks alone. It is a 4/3 flying Dragon with myriad, so whenever it attacks, you may create a token copy of it attacking each other opponent, and every copy carries the same payoff: whenever one deals combat damage to a player, you create a Treasure token. Swing into a four-player table and you can come out of combat with a pile of Treasure.
That mana is where the card earns its slot. Treasure ramps you into the bigger Dragons in your deck, fuels artifact synergies, or simply pays for the next big turn, and because the myriad copies are exiled at end of combat, you get the full attack every turn without cluttering your board. For five mana it rewards aggression in exactly the way Commander tables need, putting pressure on everyone at once.
This is the Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander extended-art printing, collector number 74, illustrated by Arif Wijaya, in non-foil, with the artwork stretched wider than the standard frame allows.
