Magic: The Gathering single: Goblin Lackey. Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
"Danger" was supposed to be babysitting, so "Little Angel" became the newest member of the team. Goblin Lackey's flavor text in the < explosion sounds > Secret Lair drop is pure mischief, and Mike Uziel's version turns one of Magic's sneakiest one-drops into the youngest recruit of a goblin demolition crew.
The card plays exactly as it always has, which is to say dangerously. For one red mana you get a 1/1 with a huge upside: whenever it deals damage to a player, you may put a Goblin permanent card from your hand straight onto the battlefield. Land it early, get one attack through, and a big Goblin bomb or a lord like Goblin King arrives turns ahead of schedule. Opponents have to decide whether a lone 1/1 is worth their removal, and both answers can go wrong for them.
This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 20, illustrated by Mike Uziel, in non-foil. It came out alongside Goblin King and Goblin Sharpshooter in the same drop, so it fits right in if you are building a Goblin deck around that crew's look.
