Item Description
Ten cards for two mana is a rate that makes graveyard players grin. Glimpse the Unthinkable costs two mana, one blue and one black, and a single line of text: target player mills ten cards. Point it at an opponent and you take a big bite out of their library; point it at yourself and you have stocked your graveyard for whatever comes next.
That flexibility is why it shows up in so many different blue-black decks. Mill strategies love it as a cheap, efficient chunk of a win condition, while reanimator, flashback and graveyard-value decks in Commander use it to fill the yard with targets and fuel. It is simple, fast and satisfying, and the reveal of ten cards at once never gets old.
This is the Iconic Masters printing from 2017, collector number 200, illustrated by Brandon Kitkouski, in non-foil. It keeps the original Ravnica artwork and the card's House Dimir flavor text, in which the guild's master Szadek claims that even the sharpest mind could never be ready for the truth behind the guild.
