Item Description
Ghostly Prison is the enchantment that turns attacking you into a budgeting exercise. For three mana, every creature that attacks you costs its controller two mana, so a player who wants to swing with five creatures has to spend ten mana to do it.
In Commander, that tax is a powerful deterrent. Opponents tend to send their armies at someone else, which buys time for control, combo, group-hug and pillow-fort decks to set up, and it stacks with effects like Propaganda and Sphere of Safety to make attacking you painfully expensive. Because the tax applies every turn, it keeps working long after it's cast, and it hits wide token swarms hardest of all.
This is the Secret Lair Drop printing from the Showcase: Neon Dynasty drop, collector number 424, illustrated by Ai Nanahira, in neon ink foil. It brings the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty showcase style to a favorite white defensive enchantment, and the glowing neon ink gives it a fresh, offbeat look.
