Item Description
One green mana on turn one, and your turn-two play suddenly costs three. Fyndhorn Elves is about as simple as Magic gets, a one-mana 1/1 Elf Druid that taps for green, and that simplicity is the whole appeal.
Mana Elves accelerate everything a green deck wants to do, from landing a three-drop early to casting your commander a turn ahead of the table. Fyndhorn Elves counts as both an Elf and a Druid, so it slots into Elf decks that reward a crowded board, and it pairs naturally with effects that untap creatures or care about tapping them. First printed in Ice Age, it works exactly like Llanowar Elves, which is why green decks have happily run both for decades: two copies of the best kind of turn-one play.
This is the Commander Legends extended-art printing, collector number 678, illustrated by Igor Kieryluk, in non-foil. The extended frame pushes Kieryluk's artwork out toward the card's edges, a clean upgrade over the standard-frame version from the same set.
