Item Description
Final Fantasy fans know the chocobo, and this Forest wears one of the set's most charming nods to the series' famous riding birds. Collector number 482 from Final Fantasy Commander is a full-art Forest illustrated by ZOUNOSE in Chocobo Track Foil, a special foil pattern used on select Final Fantasy cards.
Basic lands are the cards you look at most in any game, so they are a natural place to show off. In a Final Fantasy-themed Commander deck with green in its colors, matching full-art basics tie the whole mana base to the theme, and the special foil makes this one far more than a placeholder. Green decks lean on Forests for ramp, landfall and big creatures, so this card will hit the table early and often.
It also makes a fine binder piece for collectors tracking down the set's alternate foils, since the full-art layout gives ZOUNOSE's landscape the entire card to work with.
