Final Fight 3 for the Super Nintendo comes complete with the original cartridge and manual — a great find for anyone who wants the full experience without hunting down a loose copy. Having the manual alongside the cart is a genuine bonus, putting the character bios, move lists, and that classic SNES booklet feel right in your hands. Coolection has tested this cartridge and it was playing as expected — though as with any vintage cartridge, how it performs can depend a bit on your own SNES setup and the condition of your console's connector. Item Description
Final Fight 3 is the send-off the series deserved on the Super Nintendo — a beat-em-up that arrived late in the console's life and packed in refinements the earlier entries only hinted at. Capcom brought four playable characters to the streets of Metro City this time around: Guy and Haggar return as fan favorites, joined by newcomers Lucia and Dean, each with a distinct fighting style that actually changes how you approach a run. Two-player simultaneous co-op is in, the special move system gives combat a satisfying depth, and branching stage paths add replay value that most brawlers of the era couldn't match.
The presentation holds up well for a 1995 SNES release. Sprites are large and detailed, the animation has that punchy Capcom snap to it, and the soundtrack carries the gritty urban energy the series built its reputation on. It draws from the same DNA as Street Fighter in its controls — players already fluent in SNES-era Capcom will feel right at home throwing out specials and juggling enemies into corners.
As the third and final chapter of the SNES Final Fight trilogy, this entry tends to resonate with collectors who followed the series from the arcade original through its home console run. It's more complete and more polished than either of its predecessors on the system, and having the manual in the package makes it that much more satisfying to shelve alongside a Super Nintendo collection.
This one is for the dedicated brawler fan or SNES Capcom completionist who wants the full story of Metro City on the shelf.
